Coonamble Public School held a significant event to commemorate Sorry Day with a visit from Brenda Matthews, who shared her powerful story of being taken from her biological family in the 1970s in Gilgandra and placed with another family in Wilton.
Brenda was warmly welcomed by the local Aboriginal dance group upon her arrival, and she expressed how much she loved their performance.
