Sorry Day speaker calls for movement on Bringing Them Home report

More than 50 people gathered at the Coonamble Local Aboriginal Lands (LALC) Council on Tuesday to commemorate survivors of the Stolen Generation.

Students from all three local schools joined community representatives from Coonamble Shire Council and Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service on 26 May to hear NSW LALC councillor Anne Dennis speak on Sorry Day.

The Gaamilaraay woman, who lived in Coonamble's 'Tin Town' for part of her childhood, encouraged locals to learn . . .
