A fast-moving grass fire razed land just one kilometre from Baradine last week.
The fire destroyed 7.5 hectares of paddocks, 18 large hay bales and severely damaged fencing along Aerodrome Road on Friday, 10 March.
Residents breathed a collective sigh of relief when the fire was contained without major loss of property due to the quick action of the NSW Rural . . .
