Swanny’s Frozen foods have expanded their deliveries to include fly in supplies to Walgett and Lightning Ridge, thanks to the NSW Rural Fire Service helicopter.
Due to road closures last week, Swanny’s made two flights to supply hungry locals at the two isolated communities.
Speaking with Sue Swansborough on Tuesday, she said they were receiving hourly updates on road conditions in the area.
