A teenage male was airlifted out of Coonamble on Sunday afternoon 4 May after suffering a serious self-inflicted hand injury during a domestic incident.
The Coonamble Times understands he approached a residential property in the township where he smashed a front window with his fist.
In the process his arm was cut by the glass, causing serious lacerations and bleeding.
He was taken to Coonamble Multipurpose Health Service, where he was stabilised by hospital staff.
