The dumping of rain in the early hours of Good Friday morning 10 April, saw the creeks and rivers rise around the district and also led to a major recovery exercise of hundreds of bee hives from the Coonamble Common.
The Sykes family from Dubbo had about 2500 hives in the district ahead of the Easter weekend, having relocated them from the Central Coast to avoid . . .
