It was a purple-powered event in Smith Park on National Domestic Violence Remembrance Day as Coonamble's DV Collective hosted a picnic to commemorate the lives of those killed by a partner, parent or family member.
The day featured activities like bracelet making, rock decorating, and painting all in the colour purple - the international symbol for domestic violence awareness.
