Well, what contrast two winter seasons can have!
In 2023 across the district we received rainfalls below 100 mm between April and the end of September, twelve months later we have seen falls from 200 to 260mm during the same period.
So this year can be considered somewhat closer to an average growing season but look at the potentials we have created.
Following on from good summer rains we have seen that with timely operations, good weed and disease control and improved nutritional management some exceptional potential has been produced.
