Coonamble Shire Council's deputy mayor Steven Butler is calling for truck drivers to drop their dust before driving through town to prevent hazards for other drivers.
Steven Butler said when trucks don’t get rid of their dust before driving through town the dust falls from their wheels, making the town dirty and the road slippery for drivers.
"Intersections are the worst; if you don't know it's there when you pull up, you just skid."
There is existing signage and truck bays in place to encourage drivers pause before entering . . .
