A driver escaped serious injury after crashing into a tree in Smith Park on Tuesday 4 March.
It's understood the utility was heading north on the Castlereagh Highway into town at around midday when it veered off the road and clipped a wooden power pole before hitting a tree about 15 metres away.
Emergency services responded at around 12:40pm, including police and a Fire & Rescue NSW truck.
