The old cricket adage “catches win matches” could not have rung truer in Gidgee’s matchup against Breelong Cricket Club on Saturday 9 December.
A sweltering day for cricket in Gilgandra saw the Coonamble side go down in a hard fought game against a strong Breelong side on a tough wicket.
Gidgee won the toss, electing to bat first.
