After light rain the night before Wednesday 20th August the word got around in the morning that golf was still on.
So down the fairway the lady golfers went on their golf carts with the intention of playing 18 holes.
The lady golfers were determined that rain would not stop them.
Then after a couple of holes light rain started again and it was becoming more frequent.
The ladies were drenched by the 7th hole and so it was decided that they would give up and return to the clubhouse.
