The road leading the way to Coonamble’s first solar farm is now under construction.
Work began on the road leading to Coonamble’s Moorimbilla Solar Farm 16 February.
Now that contractors have their boots on the ground, Birdwood Energy projects the installation to be completed in early 2027.
Birdwood Energy’s Anthony Anderson said this part of the project should take four weeks.
“The road is required to have an upgraded turning lane before construction starts,” he said.
