At least 80 young people have taken up counselling with the headspace Outreach Program as the service enters its second year.
The program involves Aboriginal Youth Wellbeing Workers chatting to 12-25-year-olds about their wellbeing.
The team has also run pop up information stalls, jewelry making workshops and three-on-three basketball competitions across Coonamble and Gulargambone.
"Most of the time, it's just a good old yarn," youth worker Nikki Johnson said.
